Since the end of the Korean War, 200,000 Korean children have been spread all over the world. Jung is among them. He was born in Seoul in 1965 and was adopted by a Belgian family in 1971. The film is based on his autobiographical comic strip of the same name and combines animation with documentary images and archive footage. The film follows his life from the orphanage in Seoul, as a small child ending up in a strange country via a tough adolescence to adulthood, when he pays a visit to South Korea. Granted the Audience Award and Unicef Award at Annecy in 2012. Korean/French version, Dutch/French subtitles.
