Between Frames – The Art of Brazilian Animation

Brazilian animation brings such rich and stimulating stories and exciting characters that its importance spreads all over the lives of every Brazilian. A wonderful documentary about animation and the passion of Brazilian animators who made their history out of nothing since 1917. Besides the historical approach, the film also presents a short remake of what was Brazil's first animated film O Kaiser (1917), a lost film with just one frame left. The remake was made by eight animators who used different techniques to honor Álvaro Marins, the first Brazilian animator.
