The Cartoon d’Or is the prestigious European prize for short animation films granted by Cartoon, the European Association of Animation Film. Winners of the Cartoon d'Or since 2010.
The year’s end celebrations are coming. Christmas : the tree, the dinner, the presents. Indian and Cowboy are expecting their presents eagerly. Overexcited by the organization of the celebration, they fight and destroy the Yule log on which Horse was putting the last touch. Horse is livid and cancels the gifts from Santa Claus.
A former opera star has to entertain the children in a shopping centre, dressed as a crocodile. This disgusts him so much that he starts behaving rudely. Winner Cartoon d’Or 2010.

Forced to return to his naturist roots, Willy bungles his way into noble savagery. Entirely made from wool, felt and textile, Emma De Swaef and Marc James Roels' short tells a story of life, death and rebirth with wobbly thighs, vomit, breastfeeding, space travel and bunny rabbits - all against the backdrop of a nudist colony. Oh Willy... reads as a surrealist story about loneliness, grief and a soft little guy tossed around by life. De Swaef & Roels create a universe where its inhabitants and building blocks are allowed their imperfections.
