In 2008 the Utrecht-based institutions Music Centre Vredenburg, Film Theatre’t Hoogt and Theatre Kikker organise for the third time the programme Cinemuze, with silent films accompanied by live music. They invited De Bonte Koe, a workshop for the development of contemporary music in Utrecht, to compose and perform music for a programme with already existing, absurdist animated films from Estonia. The composers and performers are Floris van Bergeijk, Jelte Heringa, Jeroen Kimman and Daniel Cross.
