The speaker imagines herself on “reality” TV, surreal, but not much more so than "real" reality TV. Fish, rocking horses, the Mona Lisa, Dame Edith Sitwell and the presenter Davina McCall all
appear as found footage.

I first made a series of thirty one short loops that were posted as GIF’s on Facebook, in May and June 2016. Then I proceeded to build a film out of those segments with the support of the infinite music of Malcolm Goldstein. The result is a meditation on time, both radically abstract and intensely material.

This work is based on aerial attacks that I experienced in my early childhood. The more time passes, the more vividly this memory comes back, and always gives a strong stimulus and an inexplicable disquiet to my creations. I could never forget the face of a cock running around to escape the flames, as well as the burning red of its crest.
