The most narrative narrative never narrated. It has a beginning, a middle, and an end…. It is at once both a three-act assault on the conceit of the traditional narrative, and also perhaps, a futile attempt to escape the narrative impulse of cinema.

De vindingrijke beer probeert te overleven door zich aan te passen aan zijn veranderende omgeving. Hij maakt een reis waarin hij elementen in zijn omgeving tegen komt die hem vragen te veranderen. Het leven vraagt om flexibiliteit en het zoeken naar oplossingen. De elementen die de beer vragen te veranderen zijn: temperatuur, kleur,materiaal en vorm.

The movie is black and white, rythmic metamorphosis of abstract geometric forms. Its dramaturgy is built by pure form and evocative music. It has been fully implemented cameraless, directly on a 35mm film tape.

A poetic portrait about how Beyong , a 30 year old transgender who was forced to suppress her true self growing up, gives in to her subconsciousness and starts her transformation to the woman she is today.
Backstory:
This portrait was made as an apology to my nephew. He was openly discriminated against by the family when he shared with us his sexual orientation.
