Competition Web Animation HAFFTube

After two editions featuring a selection of Dutch animation films for the Internet, the Holland Animation Film Festival this year launched an international competition for web animations (five minutes max) on HAFFTube, supported by YouTube. The competition started on 8 September. The first ten days, about five films a day were uploaded. Gradually, HAFFTube filled up with animated films from all over the world. The limit for the number of films was set at fifty. When this maximum was reached, the HAFF eliminated several films every day to make room for new submissions. It was possible to enter films until 22 October. Next, a jury took things over to appoint a winner from the remaining shortlist of fifty films.
