This year KLIK! received over 1.300 entries from 75 countries. The competition programs were compiled by painstakingly going through each and every one of these entries. For the second year running, however, KLIK! has also curated an extra out-of-competition program containing films from countries where animation perhaps does yet not have a big tradition, but where animation talent is on the rise.
Strikingly, the films presented in Emerging Animation Countries provide remarkable and often political perspectives on their nations of origin. A proper trip around the world from your safe and comfy cinema seat.

Moriendo
Moriendo Renascor is a heartfelt allegory, which portrays the paradox of death and life in bittersweet nostalgic scenes. The film centers around a lady who awaits death while she lingers on her unknown dearest to come home. One morning the lady meets a gaffer, who promises her that he would reap her soul once she allows him to. Thus she begins to make peace with her sorrowful memories that time can not erase.
Origem
Custano is an Elder tree who is taken out from his Paradise by the spark of death. He never recovered from this fact that brings him to give his life for his son, Remigio.

In an african savana, a lion took control of the only water spot and was waiting for the other poor thirsty animals to hunt them. Soamba the most clever animal of the bush called for a meeting to get to the bottom of this.
