Masterclass: Playful Approaches to Animation with YONK 

In this session, YONK will share how entering the animation world with little experience shaped their approach and led to a studio focused on playful methods. They will discuss their experiences creating work in the commercial sector and show how they use a variety of technologies to craft visually striking, human-driven animations. 

YONK (NL) is a 3D animation studio using Virtual Reality and live, performance-driven tools to create playful character designs and animations. Their practice blends raw, childlike sculpting with polished finishes, and experiments with the animation process to produce maximalist and delightfully strange work.
