The story takes place on a beautiful beach where people are enjoying their free time. On the other side of the beach, a small sea turtle is being born from an egg. Because she was so excited to be in the ocean, the newborn didn't even notice that two ravenous seagulls were chasing her along the way. So the path to the sea becomes an adventure full of obstacles that it has to overcome. Can it survive and successfully reach the ocean?

At the end of the film, we see that the greatest threat to both the baby turtles and the seagulls comes from the activities of us humans. Their lives end up in human waste rather than the natural food chain.
