Vinex Productions presents: KIJKSHOCK 3 animation films with live music, the duo Schupp and van Dijk’s latest performance. Their short and self-directed music-animations (sometimes abstract, sometimes figurative) are characterised by fancifulness and absurdism. The music swings back and forth between classic and jazz and everything beyond. Sound and image interlock in perfect unison. Schupp and van Dijk themselves play in the five-man band that accompanies the films live on stage. Their own work is complemented with films and music by kindred filmmakers/composers, who wrote new pieces for Kijkshock 3 on the duo’s invitation.
