Justin van der Lek and Jacqueline Makkee are here on a short visit from Los Angeles to tell us about their work. They specialise in visual effects and Jacqueline is a whiz at special effects with costumes and make-up. They boast an impressive list of movies. For example, Justin collaborated on Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Jacqueline on the high-profile live action Ghost in the Shell. They explain how they ended up in Hollywood, they talk about the careers they built, together and separately, and they show interesting making-of examples of the films they worked on.
