Those films that make you go, “What the flying fuck were these people thinking/sniffing/smoking?” And, “Where can we get some more of that good stuff?” To share this wonderful feeling of alienation, bewilderment, and delight, we present you with the very weirdest the animation world has produced over the years. If you’re brave enough to venture into a program that collects the damned, the strange, and the damned strangest from the world of animation, you’ll never look at the medium in the same way ever again... Just keep repeating: “It’s only a movie! It’s only a movie! It’s only... a movie?”

The Muse, Stop-Motion-Video, 2012, 3,31 min.In the video, we see the muse in her livingroom. She`s basically wasting her time by reading magazines, nibbling grapes and having wine. Finally, she`s lying down on the sofa for a little nap. At this point, the metamorphosis is taking place: the sofa is becoming animate: it`s starting to move and grow and swamping the muses body. Then the muse and the sofa are becomimg one, and the transformation is going on, until, in the end, the artwork is born out of the muses bottom. In the work, the muse plays the role of a stereotype female artist being a beautiful, dreamy and passive person, just one of the stereotype females which are so often shown in the mass media. The transformation of her body ironically reflects the process of producing artworks and shows it as something very easygoing - the work is simply born without any effort.
