Inspired by the pioneering work of physician Elisabeth Kübler Ross on end-of-life care, Nana Lou is a VR interactive animated short film inviting the viewer to play a spirit accompanying a grandmother during her last moments. Untangling Nana Lou's memories with her isn't easy however. But by your luminous presence at her side, you are able to comfort her as she faces medical ordeals and help her revisit those precious memories to make her last journey a wonderful story. A fantastic journey through the Tree of Life and a colourful past.

Here you find yourself surrounded by all sorts of characters: snack peddlers, lixir dealers, gambling teenagers, flamboyant it-girls, and lots of odd birds, all wrapped up in the approaching of Oranova, a rare conjunction with the planet Kristallyn. Translating complex internal experiences into symbolic and abstract imagery, Healing Inscape: Sacrific & Rebirth challenges the limitations of language as a tool for communication. Through 3D art and VR, it reflects on how misunderstandings within family dynamics can lead to conflict and emotional distress. Combining the concepts of catharsis and inscape, the surreal landscape is a safe, immersive space for releasing negative emotions and promoting self-awareness.
