A fast-moving collage of found images, textures, and hand drawn abstract imagery, this film builds around a series of personal anecdotes during which the filmmaker attempts to understand her gender and sexuality (or lack thereof).
In a constant search for closeness, C experiences emotions in all their highs and lows. Even if a familiar phase of togetherness is followed by a rejection of the other person and, accordingly, a sad loneliness, C does not give up. Again and again, new ways are found to find the longed-for closeness and tenderness. And to lose.
During a PowerPoint presentation, statistical diagrams are breaking free from the strait-jacket of their
coordinates. A trip into the sensual world of statistics begins. Pie charts are melting, arrow diagrams twisting, scatter plots, bar graphs and stock market curves join in a collective climax.

Created during March 2020, this experimental stop-motion film reflects the anxiety of the artists involved as the anxiety around the COVID-19 virus grew globally. South Africa went into lock-down on Friday 27 March. Everybody working in isolation, the film was completed on 1 April 2020.
Freeze frame: the most absurd technique since the invention of the moving image. Through an elaborate process of duplicating the same image over and over again, it creates the illusion of stillness.In this stop motion film, identical figures perform the hopeless task of preserving blocks of ice. The repetitive movements reanimate the animals captured inside.

Sunday, Fulesee. Two people go diving in a lake. They understand each other without a word, everything seems ok. But the dive leads them not only to fish and into darkness, it also reaches into the depths of their souls. At 30 metres below the surface, fears and stories for which they cannot find any signs in diving language suddenly rise up.
Crackling sugar skies and sweet cookies dancing their ritual to tribal drums of purity. "Her Cookie" is a celebration of femininity, sparkling in the dark. Shouting against food waste.

Hypnotizing pendulum sets a particular mechanism in motion. A figure appearing fragmentarily, space and a variety of objects form a rhythmic system of mutual dependence. Sound interweaves with image, creating music of repetitive events. What is the cause and what is the effect?

Our most important internal motivation remains to satisfy our needs. In four episodes that are interconnected but distinct from each other, the question was what would happen if our needs were changed, shifted in time, able to adjust to our agenda, or if we could influence them.

There is no explanation on the story behind it. There is no deeper thought or symbolism
behind it. Like driving, listening to the music and looking at the landscape. All passes by.
