Over the course of our existence, us humans have become increasingly detached from nature. We often think about nature as a static entity, as something we can or should have complete control of — even going as far to believe that nature is man’s pliable property. Luckily though, more and more of us are realizing that humans in fact constitute just a small part of that very nature.
These shorts show the many ways in which humans and nature clash and come together, trying to making it work while inhabiting one and the same world.

On an island, at the edge of the woods, a watchman and his bird live a miserable and isolated life. One day a deceptive chance came up to escape the boredom. But great danger lurks behind it.

Simon knows ducks quite well. They make noise, fly, swim, some even roll. Sometimes, it's a bit confusing and Simon gets lost.

The stone-people Hew and Kew have seen a lot in their everlasting lives on top of their mountain. Therefore they're only mildly amazed by the ongoings in the valley below, they've got their own little problems to deal with -
But all of a sudden, Mankind is discovering and inventing instead of just woozeling, and this new behavior starts to threaten Hew’s and Kew's stoic peacefulness...

"The Cow Who Wanted To Be a Hamburger" is a children's fable about the power of advertising, the meaning of life and ultimately the test of a mother's love.

In a small country, surrounded by a dyke, dwell the "Water People". They live partly submerged in water, for instead of keeping it out, the duke keeps the water in. The Water People like it that way.
Their King, however, hates water and tries to sell out.

In a forest of gigantic trees, the six year old indigenous girl Oquirá will challenge her destiny and learn to understand the cycle of life.
