Paul Driessen is one of the standard bearers of the Dutch animation film and substantially contributed to the fact that from the 1970s the Nederlands gained international status in the field of the autonomous animation film. In March 2015, Paul Driessen turns 75. Also in March 2015, his latest film will be completed, It’s Raining Cats and Dogs (co-production il Luster Film and National Film Board of Canada). All the more reason for a festive première of his new film and a retrospective of his oeuvre at HAFF, in association with different parties.
