Song of the Sea

New and colourful fairy tale from the makers of The Secret of Kells (2009). Ben and Saoirse live with their father in a lighthouse on a little island. To protect them from the dangers of the sea, their grandmother takes them to live in the city. Here, Ben discovers that his sister is a Selkie, a sea fairy whose song is able to lift the Owl Witch’s curse over the fairy sprites. To sing the song of the sea, Saoirse has to get back to the lighthouse. The return trip takes them through a world of fairy stories and old legends, when Ben and Saoirse have to stand up against the Owl Witch.
