Japan, 2077. The country has separated itself from the United Nations, after they approved a resolution prohibiting the development of cyber technology. Japan, market leader in this sector thanks to the large Daiwa Heavy Industries company, proceeds to shut itself off from the rest of the world using an electronic shield. No foreigners allowed. Meanwhile, the West dispatches Vexille to Japan, a special agent looking for proof that Japan is still developing illegal robot technology.
