Remarkable and stylised animated film produced at the Korean Academy for Film Arts. Everything on the White Planet is black and white. Everyone on the planet has white skin. On this planet, Choi Min-je is the only person whose skin bears colour. Everyone treats him like a monster. He wants an ordinary life like others, and the only way to achieve that is to get off of this planet. The sky is filled with such beautiful colours. Somewhere beyond the sky, people surely exist just like him. Then, people who claim they can help show up in Min-je’s life. Grand Prix HAFF 2015 feature film.

Everything on the White Planet is black and white. Everyone on the planet has white skin. On this planet, CHOI Min-je is the only person whose skin bears color. Everyone treats him like a monster. Min-je is raised, locked up in his own room and exposed to extreme violence. One day when Min-je is 15, his mother falls apart, killing her husband and takes her own life. Min-je witnesses it all and believes that everything has happened because he is different. He wants an ordinary life like others, and the only way to achieve that is to get out of this planet. The sky is filled with such beautiful colours. Somewhere beyond the sky, surely exist people just like him. Then people who claim that they can help, show up in Min-je’s life.
