Animation 3D 2

In animation, 3D often refers to the spatial aspect of the sets and characters. Besides, in recent years, large-scale feature productions are released almost typically in stereoscopic 3D, regarding the perspective of the reproduction, a costly technique that was initially only affordable in commercial applications and is often primarily meant for entertainment because of its spectacular effects. But nowadays artistically-oriented short films take some steps on the 3D path, too. What is the effect of 3D on the story? A programme in association with Marc Bertrand, producer at the National Film Board of Canada. Featuring the world première of Adriaan Lokman’s Barcode in 3D.
