Power couple alert: Joanna Quinn and Les Mills are back with another Beryl film (Affairs of the Art)! And as Kaboom will be the first animation festival in NL to show their latest film, we have invited the highly acclaimed figures in world animation. They founded Beryl Productions in the eighties and have been working on animated films ever since. Beryl - a comic and unhinged everywoman - is one of the most recognized animated characters in film festivals and gave the name to Joanna and Les' production company. The duo's first creative collaboration was on the film Girls Night Out (also featured in our program) and introduced the character of Beryl to a worldwide audience.
