Booming Animation From South Korea 2

South Korea was once known only for low wages that allowed cheap production of many Asian and Western films and TV series. The economic malaise in the early 1990s led the Korean government to offer active support Lo a number of industries, including animation. Five large animation festivals, around ten institutions offering support, more than a hundred training courses, thousands of students and a large audience which has grown together with the medium, are all symptoms of the boom in Korean animation.
