Fantasy film set in the rugged and mysterious Highlands of Scotland. The impulsive princess Merida challenges destiny to change her fate, unwittingly unleashing chaos in the kingdom. She turns to an eccentric witch and is granted an ill-fated wish. When Merida’s mother, the dignified and elegant Queen Elinor, is transformed into a bear, mother and daughter must work together to find a way to reverse the spell. It forces Merida to harness all of her resources, including her mischievous triplet brothers, to undo the curse and discover the meaning of true bravery. Oscar animated feature film 2013.
