When tough Jake and elegant Ella meet at the dodgem cars, the spark soon fly. Literally. The couple reaches perfection in the universal history of love and romance. Ode to love evokes classic cinema with super-feminine women and virile men. Without dialogue, the entire story is told through music, featuring fragments from La Traviata and the Bolero, and particularly a lot of original music by Nicole Renaud. Sometimes subdued, sometimes exuberant, with a dramatic dénouement.
