In a unique intersection of surrealism and electronic improvisation,  Elulu arrives as a multisensory cinema experience. Directed by  Chilean filmmaker Gabriel Verdugo Soto, Elulu is a visual, science  fiction dialogue between mother and son.  Musician Daniel Kordík is known for his work with synthesizers and field recordings. In the Cineconcert Kordík translates the film’s  organic textures and bodily mutations into a dense, atmospheric  soundscape. Expect a performance where the boundaries between the screen and the room blur—a sonic journey that breathes life into  the film’s imagery, ranging from delicate ambient whispers to tectonic rhythmic shifts.

Elulu is non-dialogue a sci-fi / psychological drama film, made by a single person. It tells the story of an unemployed scientist / painter who returns to his childhood home to mourn his mother. What he doesn't know is that the house is secretly inhabited by a special caterpillar called Elulu and her three companions with superpowers, who are in their own particular search.
