The competition for commissioned films not only comprises the best among the best of traditional animation applications, but also state of the art applications of moving graphics, VFX and SFX. In the categories commercials, information films, film and TV leaders and music videos, the so-called Joop Geesink Prize will be awarded, and there is a Grand Prix for the best overall film in this competition. From 303 submissions, 89 were selected (37 commercials, 13 informative, 17 leaders and 22 music videos). The jury of the commissioned films competition includes Dominic Buttimore (producer, United Kingdom), Mieke Gerritzen (director Design Museum Breda), Motomichi Nakamura (filmmaker, VJ artist).
