Mind The World | Pune Design Festival 2025
What happens when the world has had enough? When the scars of human greed, negligence, and mindless invention push nature to the brink—how long before it retaliates?
This year, we partnered once again with Pune Design Festival to craft their signature film, bringing the 2025 theme—Mind The World—to life. Through the metaphor of a tormented bull, we witness a planet pushed past its limits, no longer enduring but fighting back. A world we tamed, controlled, and exploited finally turns—reminding us that nature is not an infinite resource, nor an idle spectator.
As designers, we hold the power to reshape this narrative. To move beyond fueling industries that drive destruction and instead become the architects of change. Because when the world fights back, there’s no escape—only reckoning.
Watch. Reflect. And most importantly, Mind The World.

How Smart Are Crows?
In one of Aesop’s fables, a crow is searching for water. It spies a pitcher— but the water inside is beyond its reach. So, the crow begins dropping in pebbles. One-by-one, they displace the water, and the crow quenches its thirst. This is just one of many fascinating displays of intelligence from corvids. Ted-Ed digs into what makes this bold, brainy family of songbirds so smart.
The Phoenix
The Phoenix is a 2D animated music video set in a dystopian heaven where angels rise against oppression. In a city of brutalist towers and masked enforcers, a lone hero joins a growing revolution. Symbols of resistance spread across the streets, protests erupt, and flames spark as the angels confront their golden-gated rulers. Blending imagery of repression, uprising, and fragile beauty, the film unfolds like a dream of resistance—where the gates of paradise are forced open and hope takes shape in a new world.
