For the competition for best Dutch animation, a selection committee made a selection from 141 Dutch entries. 36 titles passed the test. The committee was made up of Reinier Hattink (producer, for VERS - the new name of NFTVM), Patrick Chin (animation filmmaker, on HAFF’s invitation), Lisette Looman (production manager Telescreen, on behalf of the Vereniging Nederlandse Animatieproducenten - VNAP).
