Competition HAFFTube

The international competition for web animations (five minutes max) took place on HAFFTube and is supported by YouTube. The competition started in September. Gradually, HAFFTube filled with animation films from all over the world, surprisingly including a lot of new work of high quality and a lot of student films. From slapstick and experimental films to music video to socio-political committed productions. The jury consisted of filmmakers whose films were selected for the international shorts competition.
The winner is Silver Junkie: Maria van Gitte Le Bruyn (Belgium). Authentic animation by a visual artist in oil on glass.
The runner-up - who came very close! - is Pulverous by Ovidiu Opris (Netherlands), an animation with powder on the poem Pulverous by Ingmar Heytze.
