Head in the Stars
A young man drives into the hills to enjoy the beautiful star-spangled sky undisturbed. Only insects keep him company. But then competitors appear. Until the hill is teeming with people.

The national children’s jury of the festival is called MovieSquad HAFF Junior. Prior to the festival, children from eight to twelve years old could go to a movie theatre near their school to watch a programme of seven short animation films and cast a vote for their favourite. The school received special teaching tools to prepare for the films and the children could apply for a seat on the three-headed jury. The film gathering the most votes from all classes and the jury’s favourite have a chance to be included in the national educational project Klassefilm of the EYE Film Institute Netherlands. This programme is also screened at the festival.
On Sunday, directly following the screening of 14:30, the winner will be announced. MovieSquad HAFF Junior is realised with support from the SNS REAAL Fund and in association with the EYE Film Institute Netherlands.
