A royal collection of 51 films from all parts of the world and a great range of narrative and as much as 16 non-narrative films.
We try to enrich ourselves through prayer, faith and devotion to someone or something 'other'. Similarly, we believe in the existence of 'anomalies', such as unknowable and uncontrollable monsters. But can such beliefs advance us?

Ketje gaat op vakantie bij zijn tante Virginie.
Herman, de nogal vreemde apotheker van het dorp, is daar al jaren op zoek naar de Diamant der Vogels.
Ketje vergezelt hem op zijn zoektocht, maar heeft meer oog voor een lelijke mot.
As a child Ketje spend his vacation in the village of his aunt Virginie. Herman, the local, rather strange pharmacist is desperately looking for the Diamond of the birds. Ketje joins him on his quest, but has more interest in an ugly moth.

The ancient universe was different from ours today: the deities lived in our world, and planets with deities were once very close to the Earth. The deities inhabit all beings and natural phenomena. The Egyptians built the pyramids to preserve the remains of the pharaohs. All the dead pharaohs are there, with all the deities; so the earliest monuments made by human beings to commemorate the deities were also the largest tombs.
Director's statement Magician Party and Dead Crow is an installation about space. For me, the exhibition space is the whole world. During my three-month residency, the whole world changed, and a different system was established, inheriting from the previous one yet subverting it. This also corresponds to the artist’s task: you are always challenging yourself, but you can never get rid of your shadow, a hopeless yet fascinating activity.
