This poetic animation depicting the night landscape of the vicinities of Brudnowski cementary is a macabre with a hint of humour . At St. Vincent scratched with a sewing pin on black plaster resembles a video tape from a party held at the cemetery. Here the main actors are: devils, demons and deceased. Stachu Furman employs the esthetics of silent cinema featuring all of its technical imperfections.

The source material was taken from a DVD purchased recently from a charity shop in London, a further example of appropriating dominant cinema as a canvas for video art.

Those negatives build up a portrait of the capital city and the life of her inhabitants over the last thirty years. Here, we selected 3000 photos to create the animation you are about to see.

A story of a sensitive boy, raised by a lonely and hard working mother somewhere in a far province, where life revolves around daily, inveterate habits. The young protagonist is being deceitfully seduced by a shady "master" and cynical collector of keys. In consequence of the mystery and rather incomprehensible events, the world of his unconcerned childhood falls apart. The boy gets lost on his way back home while his concerned mother embarks upon a desperate attempt to find her little son.
