Not every nation has a big tradition in the art of animation, but talent seems to be sprouting everywhere like Starbucks. For the third year running, we have curated an intriguing selection of animation created in, amongst others, Afghanistan, Mexico, Iraq, Tunisia, and Ghana. Expand your horizons!

A little girl finds a bare doll during the civil war in Afghanistan. By making a beautiful afghan dress for the doll she gives it a stunning look. However the sounds of gunfire shatters the little girl’s play.
