I can’t wait

I can’t wait

An interactive app adapted from the graphic novel written by Serge Bloch and Davide Cali, the application “I can’t wait” offers a tactile narrative experience that alternates animation and interaction. The story of life is symbolised by a red thread that unrolls, tightens, lengthens, ceaselessly unfurling to the very end beneath the user’s fingertips. It is a story that hits home at every age, a story that is simple but full of emotion, a story to be shared.

The Pristitrope is a reinterpretation of the zoetrope, a pre-cinematic optical toy that shows short, looped animations. The Pristitrope replaces the zoetropes static illustrations with 16 LCD screens, merging a digital way of showing images with an analogue way of showing their movement. The installation knows in which direction it is turning. Therefore, you can choose your own direction. Looped environments circulate, clockwise as well as counterclockwise.

That is the start of a long, shared adventure. The little line grows up with the boy and becomes his friend. It takes on all kinds of shapes reflecting life’s many emotional nuances. It’s magical! And though the line sometimes gives the boy a hard time and sulks or even hides, it also helps him, encourages and rescues him, surprises and makes him laugh.

The Big Adventure of a little Line is a cartoon tale, an ode to drawing. We invite everyone, from the very young to the very old, to take part in the many stages in a life-long friendship between a little boy and his red line.

It's a lovely day in the village, and you are a horrible goose.
Untitled Goose Game is a slapstick-stealth-sandbox, where you are a goose let loose on an unsuspecting village. Make your way around town, from peoples' back gardens to the high street shops to the village green, setting up pranks, stealing hats, honking a lot, and generally ruining everyone’s day.
