110 minutesJapanese anime by Makoto Shinkai, based on his own novel of the same name about a young man living in Tokyo and a young woman living in the countryside who start switching bodies on a regular basis. High-school girl Mitsuha is bored of her country life and wishes she was a boy living in Tokyo. She leaves an offering in the family tomb. Taki is a high-school boy from Tokyo. They realize their switching bodies and begin to communicate with each other.
This special screening of the film is preceded by the short film 'Extrapolate' by Johan Rijpma.

In this hand-drawn animation a line is being extrapolated through a grid.
When the line exceeds the boundaries of the grid, the process spreads to and reflects on its surroundings. Beyond each boundary the extrapolation of movement is causing deformation in a systematic but speculative way.
