Avant-garde filmmaker bady Minck (Luxembour, 1962) lives in Vienna and Luxembourg and works between and animation and visual arts. She studies Sculpture, but eventually graduates on Experimental Film. She starts the film production company Minotaurus Film in Luxembourg and joins Amour Fou in Vienna in partnership. She distributes her work also through museums, internet and public places. Awarded are among her films Attwengers Luft (1995), Mécanomagie (1996) and the recent success Im Anfang war der Blick (2003). Minck films sometimes have a political tone, are experimental with new techniques and always a bit surrealistic. Minck also works as a curator of film programmes and expositions for different institutions and she teaches at universities and academies in different countries.
