Louise by the Shore

On the last day of summer, little old lady Louise realizes that the last train has departed without her. As she sets up camp on the shore of the abandoned seaside town, the weather quickly turns for the worse. Fragile Louise must adapt not only to the harsh weather conditions but also to the solitude. Together with her new companion, an old dog who is also forgotten, she confronts the elements as well as her fleeting memories.

With its beautiful pastel imagery, Louise by the Shore offers a poetic and heartwarming view on aging and the dangers of forgetting. Don't miss the Dutch premiere of this film — a delightful mix of traditional hand-drawn and computer animation — at KLIK!
