Lucky Dog is an animated musical satire about immigration and privilege. It tells the story of Dice, a dog raised in an Indian household who dreams of a better life. Being a domesticated pet, he believes he is entitled to more privileges than the rats, cockroaches and other pests that have inhabited his apartment. When his owner, Disha, immigrates to Canada, the dog decides to follow her to the other end of the world.
The story pokes fun at privileged individuals in society who are never content with what they have. It also sheds light on the immigration process which seems heartbreaking and unfair to some, like asylum seekers, and a mere formality to others, like the privileged and educated class.

This short animated film is inspired by the worst "Zoo in the world", located in Gaza. The animals that died because of the war were embalmed and exhibited. The remaining living animals, involving a tiger called Laziz, were rescued to safe reserves, including Jordan. But nothing has changed for the people living in Gaza. We wanted to shine a light on the people's desperate situation in war-torn countries by telling a story of friendship and suffering through the innocent eyes of a child.
