Psiconautas, The Forgotten Children

A gripping coming of age story, Psiconautas, the forgotten children is about two teenagers’ dangerous journey. After their island is devastated by an ecological catastrophe, Dinky and Birdboy decide to escape. Birdboy by shutting himself off from the world, Dinky by setting out a dangerous journey, hoping that Birdboy will accompany her.

Set in a visually high-contrast landscape, that oozes desolation and death, this adaption of director Alberto Vázquez’ graphic novel addresses themes such as love, addiction, and resilience in a way that will leave no (young) adult unmoved.
