Sven: harrowing, Granny's Sexual Life is a short animated film, based on the anonymous testimonials gathered by Milena Miklavcic in the book 'Fire, Ass and Snakes are not toys'.
A glimpse at grandmother’s youth and the memories of her intimate life that illustrate the status of Slovenian women in the first half of the 20th century. The strict doctrine of the Catholic Church imposed the social conventions, according to which women were easily perceived as mere objects for the satisfaction of their husbands’ sexual needs. This was especially true of the countryside. Situations that involved suffering, fear, and resignation like the ones grandmother Vera would experience throughout her life are depicted in a humorous animation that overcomes the old taboos with imaginative strokes.

Lovely pencil drawn doc, It works super well that the narrator speaks directly into the camera while recalling his adventures.

A short film about ties and gaps between a child and a parent.
The author rediscovers love letters her dad used to write her from prison. That love seems to be gone now. She decides to write back in hope to find the connection again. She puts in writing what could not be said: blaming him for family´s break-up but also trying to understand.

Prosopagnosia is a personal story of identity, communication and memory that uses expressive animation to convey intimacy and emotion.
Prosopagnosia means face-blindness (not being able to recognise faces). As a way of understanding this neurodiverse behaviour, the contents of a memory box are explored. Old sketchbooks, diaries, photographs, Polaroid’s and audio diaries are intricately unravelled. Here we begin to understand the importance of faces, the coping mechanisms that can be exercised and the different ways you can live your life when you cannot recognise a face.

An animal rescuer talks about her experience with adoption of handicapped animals. Sharing stories of an old sick Chihuahua, a paralyzed, French Bulldog and a frightened cat finding their perfect human companion.

The Name of the Plum Blossom is a mixed-media film that combines traditional hand-drawn animation, animated photo collage & stop-motion techniques. It tells the story of my mom's life as a tailor and a remarried woman in 80s China, and how it influences me as a woman.
