Once upon a time ... Films from all over the world came together on a glorious battlefield. Victory would be for one of them. But there would be no losers, because talent and art are there to be celebrated, to be loved, to be remembered and to be devoured by you ... the audience. The battle would forever be known as Kaboom's International Short Film Competition. And we are honoured to organise that competition year in year out. In 2023, a large number of short films battle it out for our coveted awards!

RIM
The isolation of a character from his dystopian world and a fusion with a virtual world of television. The character begins to zap through the television channels and as the film progresses, climbs further and further into the virtual world of the television. Through purchasable keys, he is able to immerse himself in the programs that promise various emotional states and escape from his dreary outside world. In the course of the film, the character loses touch with his outer world bit by bit.

In an old building, lost in the middle of the swamp, live two strange women, Siamese twins by one leg. At night, the Flayed has terrifying nightmares in which she sees her sister's flesh covering her own body...
