Siggraph Asia 2008 Electronic Theatre
The biggest computer graphics conference, SIGGRAPH’s Asian function presented the latest moving images and the cutting edge technology on CG in Singapore, 2008. The first edition of the SIGGRAPH Asia Computer Animation Festival (CAF) illuminated a new horizon of animation and visual effects from around the world with a world-class festival of outstanding work. Electronic Theatre has been a very popular feature of the SIGGRAPH conference for many years offering some of the world’s most remarkable work selected by a distinguished international jury. SIGGRAPH Asia ET Special is a collection of 18 animation films including 3 award-winning pieces from the Electronic Theatre competition. With the ET Special, you get the opportunity to discover the full international spectrum of creativity and technological innovation.

They Will Come to Town
New York is still. Not a soul in sight. The café's are all empty, no lights are burning. The city seems dead, as if it was just recently deserted. Then, shadows begin to fall over the streets and buildings. Their numbers keeps increasing. When the view is cleared, a whale and some schools of fish majestically float overhead. We see a total view of New York and realize that the entire city lies under water and is now populated by ocean creatures. Claim: Stop global warming before it stops us.
