Hollywood actress Robin Wright sells the rights of her digital film identity, so the studio can deploy her, forever young, infinitely for twenty years in all sorts of productions. The film follows her comeback after her contract ends.
The long-awaited successor to Ari Folman’s award-winning autobiographical Waltz with Bashir (2008) won the European Animated Feature Film. It is based on the eponymous science-fiction novel from 1982 by Stanislaw Lem (Poland/Ukraine 1921-2006, whose Solaris was also adapted for the screen, by Tarkovski and Soderbergh), who is especially known for his critical/satirical and philosophical contemplations of human civilisation and technological developments.
