In this sparkling and moving family film, the pets also want to celebrate St. Nicholas: Animals’ St. Nicholas. After all, why don’t they get any gifts as part of this celebration? They are good all year, too, aren’t they? Spurred on by the energetic Fretje, they make their own wish lists. And because the long-awaited evening is drawing near, Fretje and his friends Takkie the stick insect and Kari the canary personally deliver the lists to St. Nicholas. They experience an adventurous journey on their way to St. Nicholas’ boat. Once on board, an intervening rat seems to thwart their plan. Or does St. Nicholas have a solution?
