30 minutesResearch indicates that prehistoric cave dwellers paid special attention to the acoustic properties of caves with intricate echoes, likely using them for rituals and echo location. The immersive experience of CAVES, created by director and composer Alex Raúl, art director Bats Bronsveld, and character designer Charleton Mercelina, allows audiences to hear intricate choir harmonies recorded with 3D audio techniques, providing a glimpse into the past. Additionally, "Flow" invites us to surrender to the whims of the wind, offering a fresh perspective on reality by immersing us in the dynamic process of painting with air, capturing the essence of scent, warmth, and breath.

CAVES
Research suggests that cave spaces with the most intricate acoustics, also contain the most cave paintings. Prehistoric cave dwellers thus appear to have paid special attention to the acoustic properties of the spaces in which they sung, and performed their rituals. Our early ancestors are thought to have also used the echo and reverb of their voice, to determine their position in dark caves, using echo location.
CAVES offers a glimpse into the past, for those of us who have forgotten these listening skills. Intricate choir harmonies were recorded with 3D audio techniques, allowing you to experience what it’d be like to be surrounded by an intimate choir, in the middle of a large prehistoric cave.
CAVES was created by director and composer Alex Raúl, art director Bats Bronsveld, and character designer Charleton Mercelina.
Flow
