

Kei Oyama won the Dioraphte Grand Prix HAFF 2010 for his narrative short Hand Soap. He had carte blanche to compile a programme of his own.
Recently there are many Japanese independent filmmakers who have been playing a very active part at festivals all around the world, but most of their films are not easy to get as a DVD. CALF, a newly established indie label, is an attempt to resist this situation by making their masterpieces available not only in Japan but also all around the world. We also curate a program of CALF and Japanese independent animation for festivals all around the world. Since 2012, CALF became a production studio and now makes both independent and commercial works.

One day, a boy who separated from his mother's hand is deprived of his fingers. When mother's love shows another side, His fingers become a larva and part from his hand. The house stands as concealed a relationship between the two from anyone. How does the boy who is deprived of his finger grow up?
