Kaboom x Ketelhuis: People Are Strange (When You're a Stranger)

Location:
Offline

70 min.

A depressed Jim Morrison was euphoric when he came up with a chorus for a new song with his band The Doors in 1967. He had scribbled down "People are strange when you're stranger. Faces look ugly when you're alone", referring to outcasts, those on the edges of society who feel alienated and misunderstood, unwanted even. It's arguably something we can all relate to. In the theatre where it all started for Kaboom back in 2019, let's raise a toast to those who remain in solitude and dwell in the shadows of existence. Let's celebrate vulnerability and fringe characters, because aren't we all a bit weird or obsessed after all?
