The City Without Meat

17 illustrators and writers joined forces for De vleesvrije stad (in 10 jaar), a topical book with comics, an essay and experimental visual stories. The question arises, now more than ever: how do we want to treat animals in the future? Just imagine: in ten years' time, the Netherlands will have stopped eating meat and the animal industry will be done for... With this vision in mind, these illustrators and writers created several stories about ten years and ten dilemmas. This exhibition showcases ten illustrative works, by Leyla Ali, Gus Moystad and Timon Vader.
