History
Kaboom Animation Festival is the love child of two animation festivals. In 2019 KLIK Amsterdam Animation Festival and Holland Animation Film Festival (HAFF) realized that their differences could be used to complement each other, and propel themselves forward into the future. SO we decided to join forces and work on our shared, progressive goal of a brand new animation festival that truly has it all.
Kaboom Animation Festival is now a yearly event where professionals and fans meet, inspire each other, and enjoy the latest and greatest that animation has to offer. All while celebrating the Dutch animation industry.
Kaboom Animation Festival 2022
Kaboom 2022 took place from March 28th to April 3rd 🎉
Both on our online platform, as well as in cinemas in Amsterdam and Utrecht, these days you could have emerged yourself in the best that animation has to offer!
